How is Shaft Lining
manufactured?
The ISS shaft lining system, derived from the approved RamArch jacking system, is designed to fit various types of shafts. The shaft lining panels can be customised to suit most shaft radii. For increased durability, the panels can be optionally galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461:2009, providing a life expectancy of over 120 years, thus significantly extending the lifespan of the shaft walls.
How is Shaft Lining installed?
The ISS shaft lining system is suitable for constructing new shafts and repairing or supporting deteriorated brickwork or stonework shafts. It offers a safe working method and is labour-saving compared to traditional re-pointing repair methods. The system enhances safety and efficiency, providing a quicker and less labour-intensive alternative to standard repair techniques.
