How is RamPad

manufactured?

RamPad is a rapid foundation system for lightweight structures, designed for strength, durability, and ease of transport. It is crafted from steel components manufactured to British Standards and CARES approved. The steel is galvanized to BS EN ISO 1461, giving the RamPad a life span of approximately 120 years. The base consists of a man-handleable cage that includes facilities for attaching superstructure units, eliminating the need for RRV plant. When filled with recycled material, the system is 98% recycled, significantly reducing its carbon footprint.

How is RamPad installed?

RamPad is simple and safe to install in any weather due to its unique design, requiring minimal on-site operation and equipment. The system can be easily positioned manually. It serves as a foundation for lightweight structures like lighting columns, speed signs, control units, and level crossing structures. The size of the base does not interfere with the tamping of track ballast, allows buried services to pass through without issues, and accommodates incoming cable ducts within the steel mesh matrix. Instant superstructure loadings are possible since the system avoids wet trades like concrete, aligning with government initiatives to reduce infrastructure costs.
